Ten days ago, we took a gamble and decided to fly from Tenerife back to the UK and halt our travels. There were no travel restrictions in place at the time and Tenerife had only 5 confirmed coronavirus cases, all confined to one hotel. We weren’t sure if it was the right choice and we instantly missed the sunshine and adventure. It’s unbelievable how quickly the pandemic has spread and how quickly restrictions have been imposed. We feel it was the right decision to return to our home country, although we currently have nowhere to stay! We’ll hopefully find somewhere to live this week and once settled, we can start to think about how and when our travels can continue. We hope you all stay safe and particularly look out for the elderly and vulnerable. 🌏✈️🚐 🏔🏜🌋To be continued.....

🇬🇧 Day 200 - ‘Which way next?!’ - well this photo (of a lovely little run through the New Forest) perfectly sums up our last 48 hours. Travel restrictions are popping up all over the world and our list of possible destinations for the next part of our trip is decreasing by the hour!

🇬🇧 Day 199 - Whilst we’re deciding what to do, we had a lovely morning exploring the trails and having a bit of a play at Moors Valley 🌳🌲

🇬🇧 Day 198 - What a day! Without going into detail, let’s just say that it’s been a very admin and job heavy few hours, with quite a few things left unresolved. On top of that, we literally have no idea where to go or what to do next on our world travels. We were supposed to be in Japan right now, but we cancelled with the intention of traveling Europe in a campervan. Now that looks doubtful...at least Joe is having a great time 😂😊

🇬🇧 Day 197 - It was sunny and dry this morning, so we took a trip to Lymington in the New Forest. Quay street is a lovely old cobbled road which leads to the little harbour. It’s not great for scootering, but we did discover a good coffee shop so it was worth the walk!

🇬🇧 Day 196 - Having missed the apparently never ending winter of rain in the UK, we decided to make up for it today with a very wet walk through the New Forest. ☔️Joe’s wellies were a completely pointless purchase, as he elected to be carried for about 99% of it 😂 It was really lovely to catch up with some local friends, despite the weather!
